Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• 2 years of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Previous Sanford Health employment requires an end date 6 months prior to submission.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Medical Surgical experience, working in larger hospital (200 beds min), level 2 or higher trauma center. Travel experience required, unless multiple years of experience in a large Level 1 facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred, but not required.

Unit Details: Medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients. Uses AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry. 5:1 day shift and 6:1 night shift nurse-to-patient ratio.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.

Floating Requirements: Home unit 5SE but can float to any med/surg unit on any campus.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
