Floor Division Manager

We're partnering with a rapidly growing commercial construction company that's expanding its Flooring Division and looking for a leader to help take it to the next level. This is more than a project management role - it's an opportunity to help build and shape an entire division. You'll oversee existing commercial flooring projects, develop processes, strengthen supplier and subcontractor relationships, and play a key role in the division's long-term growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial flooring projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, materials, and job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare estimates and assist with project planning and material procurement.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and existing contractor clients.
• Visit job sites to monitor quality, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
• Develop systems and processes to support a growing division.
• Help recruit, mentor, and build a flooring team as the division expands.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing commercial flooring projects, operations, estimating, or installation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products, including:
  • Carpet
  • Ceramic tile
  • LVT/LVP
  • Hardwood
  • Other commercial flooring systems
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong estimating, scheduling, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
