Travel Job Summary:

Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in Wilmington, Illinois. This role involves providing outpatient rehabilitation services within a general outpatient setting, focusing primarily on musculoskeletal and orthopedic patient populations. The therapist will deliver patient care with an emphasis on skillful treatment and team collaboration, adhering to department guidelines and using the EPIC charting system.

Job Details:

Schedule: Varies, including shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Majority of shifts are five days per week, with all clinics operating on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois PT license (pending licensing is acceptable), BLS certification, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 8-10 patients daily across multiple outpatient clinics, flexibility, teamwork, accountability, and adaptability. Previous experience in neuro, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal outpatient settings preferred.

Floats: Floating within a 5-mile radius may be required; furthest float possible is approximately 30 minutes.

Additional Information: Therapists are expected to maintain consistent team settings, with on-site education provided. The role involves 45-minute treatments and 60-minute evaluations depending on diagnosis, with a focus on patient confidence and team cohesion. Day-one orientation includes HR onboarding and departmental training.
