Pediatric Pulmonology Physician

Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinician-Educator Track)

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor faculty position on the Clinician-Educator Track.

Join a highly collaborative group of 9 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and 4 nurses committed to clinical care; education of medical students and residents; clinical, translational, and bench research; quality improvement work; and advocacy for children with breathing disorders. The position offers opportunities for program development and academic growth within an expanding and dynamic division.

Doernbecher Children's Hospital is Oregon's top-ranked children's hospital and a 150-bed tertiary care center serving as the primary referral center for Oregon, Southwest Washington, and parts of Idaho, Alaska, and Northern California.

The division features the following programs and services:

  • Accredited cystic fibrosis center with full multidisciplinary care team and Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) participation

  • Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care including regional outreach clinics

  • Multidisciplinary programs for aerodigestive disorders, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular disorders, and pediatric sleep medicine

  • Pulmonary function testing laboratory; inpatient and outpatient bronchoscopy services supported by respiratory therapy

  • Pulmonary research program with site-specific and multicenter research in bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, and childhood interstitial lung disease

  • Sleep medicine program including a fellowship training, sleep psychology, and inpatient and outpatient polysomnography
