Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to a caring, innovative organization.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, documenting observations and completing required incident reports.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific requirements for equipment handling and use.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
