What you bring to SBHG :
Education:
Associate's degree or business school certificate in office functions or 5 or more years of applicable experience required.
Experience:
One year of office management or equivalent required.
Licensure & Certification:
Valid California Driver's License (Required)
Language Skills
Bilingual – Spanish preferred
How you will make a difference:
This position performs a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks including data entry of client information, handling busy phones, greeting & assisting guests, assisting the physician with clients, and assisting with intake functions. Handling extensive personal and confidential client information is an essential job function of this position. Major duties include those related to the tracking and coordination with psychiatrists to ensure accuracy of psychiatry paperwork for EMR and DMH purposes. Collaboration with the Psychiatry Services Coordinator is essential. Duties also include general office functions such as mail, posting information, arranging food for in-services or meetings, managing meeting rooms, keeping the lobby presentable to the public, maintaining correct phone extension lists, managing visiting workmen, keeping fax machines and copy machines in good repair, and forwarding important information via intercompany mail. Assisting as back-up to Receptionist, Medical Records staff, and Center Coordinators as needed, including researching data errors and MediCal eligibility determination. Coordinates with the I.T. department in the management of fax and copy machines.

Facility & Setting: Multidisciplinary program sites (~60 locations across California, including outpatient, residential, and community-based settings)
Clinical Services: Trauma-informed care, mental health treatment, and substance abuse interventions
Length of Stay: Varies by specific program track and setting (ranging from acute/short-term to ongoing outpatient support)
