Pay Range: $41.98 - $55.17 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The X-ray Technician performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians and APP's in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The X-ray Technologist ensures quality imaging, radiation safety, and efficient workflow in the clinic.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technician in a hospital or physician's office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

Preferred:

  • EPIC knowledge is a plus
  • Working with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS is a plus
  • Experience with non-weightbearing patients/stretcher patients is a plus
  • Knowledge of leg length series is a plus

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • AART
  • NJ Radiologic Tech License
  • CPR Certification approved by the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 12:00pm - 5:00pm (10 hours per week)
  • Monday and Thursday
  • Part-Time (This is a non-benefits eligible position)

Essential Functions:

  • 40 x-rays per day
  • Multiple views for Sports Medicine, Trauma and Joint Replacement, Upper Ext, Lower Ext, and Spine
  • Other duties as assigned
