This Level I facility provides inpatient psychiatric services for pediatric patients and maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support quality care delivery. The facility is supported by an APP and an attending physician on-site during weekday business hours to ensure coordinated coverage. Locum tenens coverage is sought to maintain continuity of child and adolescent psychiatric services across evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Clinicians on assignment will find year-round recreational, cultural, and outdoor activities accessible across the region.
About the Clinicians Workday
The clinician will provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric coverage at a Level I facility in Michigan on an on-site basis. On weeknights (Monday through Friday), coverage is conducted via telephone call only from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with no virtual or in-person requirement; restraint-related calls during the night are managed by the hospitalist team. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays, the clinician is required to be in-house from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and then cover night call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with the possibility of virtual consults for pediatric psychiatric patients at regional hospitals during the daytime hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. An APP and an MD are available on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to support clinical operations.
