Full job description
Mercy is seeking an Acute Hospital Speech Therapist to provide high-quality speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver individualized therapy to support safe swallowing, communication, and functional independence. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams, document care in the EHR, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
