Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in roofing products, is seeking a Store Room Assistant to join their team. As a Store Room Assistant, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Store Room Assistant

Location: Maxville, FL

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM to 3:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming maintenance and repair parts.
  • Identify parts using manufacturer part numbers and accurately cross-reference them to internal inventory system numbers.
  • Enter and maintain part information in a computerized inventory management system.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Support the development and organization of storeroom inventory processes and procedures.
  • Kit and issue parts for maintenance work orders.
  • Operate a forklift to unload, move, and store materials and parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient storeroom.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with parts inventory, inventory reconciliation, or storeroom operations in a manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to identify machine and equipment repair parts by manufacturer part number and accurately document inventory data.
  • Experience entering and maintaining inventory records within a computerized inventory system.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass required pre-employment screenings.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience helping establish, organize, or build inventory systems and storeroom processes from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with maintenance, MRO, or industrial spare parts inventory management.
