Due to continued enrollment growth and an upcoming program expansion, the school is adding multiple full-time nursing faculty members and clinical instructors to support the next academic term.

• 4 Full-Time Nursing Faculty/Instructors (Didactic & Clinical Instruction)
• 1 Full-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor

Target Start Date

• October 2026

Location

• Indianapolis, Indiana area

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday
• Clinical instructors must be flexible and available for occasional weekend clinical rotations
• Clinical teaching assignments primarily consist of 12-hour clinical shifts
• Combination of classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing instruction in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical settings
• Develop and implement effective teaching and evaluation strategies
• Mentor, tutor, advise, and support nursing students throughout their educational journey
• Maintain professional nursing and academic standards
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, recruitment activities, and institutional initiatives
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Assist with clinical evaluations, grading, and instructional preparation
• Stay current with nursing practice standards and educational best practices through ongoing professional development
• Contribute to program assessment and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an eNLC Compact State
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience
• Strong communication and student mentorship abilities

Preferred

• Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP, PhD, or related discipline)
• Previous teaching, clinical instruction, or faculty experience
• Formal education or training in adult learning principles and instructional methods
