BPV-Paper Team Forklift/Skid Steer 1st shift

Resource MFG has immediate openings for Forklift Drivers in Byron Center, MI! This is a temp to hire opportunity with a company that manufactures environmentally friendly pet care and lawn care products, including recycled paper-based pet bedding and cat litter.

Morning Shift 8am-4:30pm

Pay $16.00 - $20.00 depending on department

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Transport raw materials to production lines and move finished goods to shipping areas.
• Stage, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing products for shipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Support production and warehouse operations as needed.
• Will be in the Paper area unloading trucks, shredding paper, pulling bales and bale wire, general housekeeping, etc.
• Experience with Skid Steer Operation preferred but willingness to learn acceptable
• **Will NOT be on a forklift 100% of the time**

Forklift experience required, must be able to lift 50 lbs
