Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1900 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Patient ratios may reach 1:7 only when surging to decompress the ER; this is not usual. Equipment includes vital-signs monitors, remote telemonitoring, iMobile devices, bladder scanners, vein finders, Dopplers, SCDs, Alaris pumps, wound vacs, and On-Q pumps. Procedures include IV starts, Foley insertions, dressing changes, and NG-tube insertions.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend commitments are required.

Floating Requirements: Floats to other medical units; when floating to PCU, the assignment is modified with no drips.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
