Corporate Security Officer – Jericho, NY

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr.

We are currently seeking a highly professional and experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile corporate location in Jericho, NY. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in law enforcement, corrections, or the military who are looking to transition their experience into a professional corporate security environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

Required Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience is required.
• Qualifying experience may include:
  • NYPD
  • Nassau County Police Department
  • Suffolk County Police Department
  • Correctional Officer experience
  • Military experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
• Ability to enforce security procedures while maintaining a professional corporate presence.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must possess a valid NYS Security Guard License or be eligible to obtain one.
• High School Diploma or GED required; proof of education must be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence throughout the corporate facility.
• Monitor and control access to the property, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols and security checks of designated areas.
• Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and unusual or suspicious activity.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity reports.
• Verify credentials and ensure all access procedures are followed.
• Provide professional assistance and direction to employees and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with client representatives, building management, emergency personnel, and Securitas leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information or situations.
• Follow all site-specific security procedures, post orders, and client requirements.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and represent Securitas and the client with the highest level of professionalism.
