Job Description

Our Brookhaven, MS location is seeking a Production Operator to add to our Lumber Processing team.

Responsibilities: Includes but not limited to:

• Performing prep work as needed
• Sanding / Polishing wood and acrylic products
• Transporting raw / worked products between departments as needed
• Sound Tuning wood products
• Testing product for sound and function
• Inspecting products for damages or defects

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years related experience
   

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of general production process; basic record keeping skills; good reading and comprehensive skills; basic interpersonal skills; basic PC skills; basic understanding of sound safety practices and good housekeeping requirements. Ability to stand/sit long periods of time, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently; ability to work in environments that are not climate controlled.

Pay Range:

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
