Overview:

Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join a collegial and well-established team at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed, Level III, not-for-profit community hospital that combines the resources of a major health system with the personalized, compassionate care of a community hospital. Serving Prince William County and the surrounding region, the hospital provides a broad range of medical and surgical services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Highlights

  • Annual compensation of $550,000
  • Competitive sign-on and commencement bonus package
  • Employed position with Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists
  • Care team model supporting approximately 9,200 cases annually, including more than 1,500 deliveries
  • Eight anesthesia locations operating Monday through Friday, including Main OR, Endoscopy, EP Lab/CVIR, and Labor & Delivery
  • Diverse case mix including general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology, vascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB/GYN, and general pediatrics
  • Call schedule of 1:5
  • Night and weekend call from home via beeper
  • Post-call day off
  • Dedicated CRNA coverage in-house 24/7

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $388,024.00 - $623,916.80 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
