Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2110 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge nurse experience preferred but not required. Nephrology experience preferred but not required. Observation Unit experience is a plus. 2 years of experience preferred.

Unit Details: The Nephrology unit is an extension of the Med/Surg units. Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses/treatments include ESRD, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis. Equipment includes a vital signs machine, bladder scanner, lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps/tubes.

Shift & Scheduling: At least 2 weekend shifts per month are required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating is as needed per facility needs.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
