Job Summary
The Assembly Technician/Builder is the foundational role for all that happens inside the Data Center. They are responsible for the safe and meticulous receipt, movement, kitting, replacement, and installation of data racks and parts on behalf of one of the world’s largest data processing companies.
How you will contribute
- Work is performed in a non-traditional warehousing type environment (Data Center) and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
- Move items from bulk containers, shipping crates, boxes, racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and places them in designated areas.
- Assist in the physical building and installation of servers and racking systems.
- Scans materials and moves them according to standard work instructions where
