Quick Facts Location: 888 Pine Street, Macon, GA 31201 Start Date: ASAP / TBD Duration: Permanent, full-time role Shift: Day shifts, shared call schedule Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Preferably 2 years in neonatal care or relevant experience Pay & Benefits Salary: Competitive, based on experience and training (discussed at interview) Sign-on bonus available Relocation assistance Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life and Disability insurance HSA, FSA options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Employee Stock Purchase Program Academic appointment with Mercer University School of Medicine Supportive, collaborative environment Modern NICU facility opened in 2019 Comprehensive benefits package, including optional voluntary plans What You'll Do Provide expert neonatal care in a 70-bed Level III NICU Manage critically ill and premature newborns with advanced therapies such as high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, pediatric specialists, and maternal-fetal medicine professionals Participate in rounding, teaching, and mentoring residents and medical students Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based neonatal practices Support families and deliver family-centered neonatal care Work within a level I trauma center environment and participate in shared call schedule What You Need Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Valid medical license in Georgia or eligible to obtain one Minimum 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience (preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This role is based at a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, committed to providing advanced neonatal care with a family-centered approach.
