<p style="text-align:center"><b>Build your future with Volt!</b></p> <p style="text-align:center">Volt is immediately hiring for a <b>CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift</b> in <b>the greater Valencia, CA area</b>.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><b>As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><b>Set up</b> and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components to specification</li> <li>Load raw materials and unload finished parts while maintaining workflow efficiency</li> <li>Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain quality standards</li> <li>Perform routine equipment checks to ensure proper alignment and setup before production</li> <li>Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify tolerances and specifications</li> <li>Troubleshoot basic machine or process issues to minimize downtime</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards</li> </ul> <h3><font size="2">The ideal candidate will have:</font></h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>At least 2 years of CNC lathe</li> <li>Familiarity with machining tools, equipment, and measurement instruments</li> <li>Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and quality standards</li> <li>Effective communication skills across teams</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment</li> <li>Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet production needs</li> <li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs</li> </ul> <h3><font size="2">This is a full-time opportunity. </font></h3> <h3><font size="2">Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM</font></h3> <ul> <li>Training will be conducted on <b>1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)</b></li> <li><b>$1.50/hour shift differential</b> applied after training completion</li> </ul> <h3><font size="2">Pay Rate: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour</font></h3> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
