You should not apply for this role if you will require Toyota to assist with immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.
Who we’re looking for
Toyota Financial Services’ Treasury Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst – Treasury ABS Operations.
The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as an integral part of our Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) programs, ensuring the accurate servicing of debt and maintaining rigorous compliance standards.
Reporting to the Manager – ABS Operations, the person in this role will support the Treasury Department's objective to provide a critical source of funds that fulfills our mission of offering competitive financing to Toyota’s loan and lease customers.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will be at the heart of our securitization operations, where your analytical precision directly impacts our ability to fund Toyota’s growth. Success means mastering the lifecycle of our ABS transactions, from initial setup to final liquidation, while fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Lead financial operations by owning the monthly issuance of servicer certificates and debt payments to ABS investors, ensuring assets are serviced in strict accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Drive strategic transactions by collaborating with the secured funding group to help architect new ABS transactions and execute liquidation procedures at the end of transaction terms.
- Champion compliance as a key point of contact during regulatory and contractual audits, providing essential documentation and partnering with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve unusual servicing activity.
- Optimize systems by overseeing setup and change management of the ABS Suite securitization platform and treasury management systems to support accurate booking and servicing.
- Collaborate for impact by working with Treasury, Legal, and SEC reporting teams to implement new compliance requirements and strengthen ABS program filings.
- Innovate and grow by participating in the team’s job rotation program, gaining experience across lease and retail asset classes while helping drive process improvements.
What you bring
- BA or BS in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar field or industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage data, build reports, and communicate insights effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team, meet performance expectations, and maintain a professional, flexible schedule.
- A detail-oriented, analytical approach that helps you observe facts accurately, solve issues quickly, and support business objectives.
Added bonus if you have
- A CPA certification that strengthens your expertise in compliance and reporting functions.
- 2+ years of audit or assurance experience with a Big 4 or national CPA firm.
- Proficiency in SQL and Visio to support system management and process mapping.
- A growth mindset that drives you to take on new challenges and share knowledge to help the team continuously improve.
What we’ll bring
During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. A few highlights include:
- A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect
- Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career, as well as tuition reimbursement
