About the role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The Sr. Project Manager will lead office infrastructure construction projects nationally with a focus on the Southeast region of the US. Infrastructure projects may consist of HVAC, chiller, UPS, generator, and other MEP upgrades and installations within occupied office facilities.

This job is a 6-12 month temporary/contract position part of the Project Management function serving as Owner’s Representative responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

*Role offers a hybrid schedule in Tampa, FL with approximately 20% out of town travel.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Project reporting to Project Management Director and other business leaders
  • Management and coaching other Project Managers to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or advanced.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job subject areas within the organization function.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

What you’ll need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred
  • Owner’s Representative experience for Class A financial or professional services client and infrastructure/MEP experience is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project. Procore and Textura experience is beneficial.
  • Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources projects is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while leading multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
