A Skilled Nursing Facility in Jamaica Queens, NY is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to oversee daily operations, support clinical staff, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight during assigned shifts.

  • Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident well-being and operational effectiveness.

  • Supervise nursing assistants and direct care staff to ensure appropriate workflow and quality standards.

  • Monitor medication administration activities and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up when necessary.

  • Respond to resident concerns, behavioral issues, and emergent situations in a timely and professional manner.

  • Facilitate communication among clinical, administrative, and support teams to ensure continuity of care.

  • Assist with admissions, readmissions, and transitions of care.

  • Complete required incident documentation and communicate significant events to leadership.

  • Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate pertinent information to incoming staff and management.

  • Support a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

  • License must be active and in good standing.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
