Job Summary
The Broker Support Specialist will field and handle all support inquiries coming in from brokers and will work with various departments within the organization (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Licensing/Contracting, Accounting)
The Broker Support Specialist is also responsible for managing all broker relationships and ensuring all contracted brokers are equipped to sell products throughout the year. This can require continual outreach to all brokers to ensure they are truly engaged.
Responsibilities
Creates updates and maintains Microsoft documents for reporting, electronic filing, and other purposes as needed.
Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information.
Reviews emails and shares information with appropriate staff.
Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
Works independently and/or within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Requirements
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Strong analytical, problem solving, and statistical skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office to include advanced level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Education and Preferred Experience
A high school diploma is required; college education from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred.
2+ years of Customer Service experience
3+ years of Administration experience
