Full job description

The Opportunity:

Enhance the client experience by providing support to the internal team and representing Hylant Global Captive Solutions (GCS) (GCS).  To further develop captive skills, industry knowledge and relationships.

In This Role You Will Execute On:

  • Manage a portfolio of captive clients with competing deadlines, to include ongoing consulting to existing client base through stewardship and other means to further develop their captive operations and attain optimal results from their alternate risk strategy.
  • Prepare and present RFP and Client Prospect presentations.
  • Timely and accurate billing for management and consulting.
  • Timely and accurate premium tracking for clients.
  • Effective communication with clients and other service providers to ensure the captive insurance entity remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver informational seminars, recommend operational best practices for internal and external clients.
  • Identify and build relationship with Hylant’s network in an effort to secure proposal opportunities for risk consulting and captive formation.
  • Promote GCS programs and services through networking, attending conferences and seminars and through internal relationship building.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

In This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience or combination of education and related experience.
  • Knowledge of captive insurance companies and the captive insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of alternative risk financing approaches, insurance coverage options and major program designs.
  • Knowledge of risk consulting methodologies and principles.
  • Commitment to client service and business ethics.
  • Familiarity with the interpretation of financial statements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
