12‐hour shifts ‐‐ days 7 am ‐ 7 pm or nights 7 pm ‐ 7 am
12 guaranteed hours per day; 7 ‐ 14 shifts per month
5 ‐ 10 patients per shift
OB/Gyn hospitalist role ‐‐ labor, antepartum, and postpartum unit
High‐volume unit averaging 7,280 deliveries per year
Low and high‐risk OB patient management required
Procedures: c‐section, VBAC, amniocentesis, surgical gynecology
FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and laceration repair required

Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
