Electrical Assembler III

Job Description
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 4:30PM to 3 AM -- 4/10 work week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of quality standards, inspection protocols, and defect criteria tomaintainproduct compliance withspecifications
  
• Teamwork - collaborate with team to improve processesand resolve assembly issues
  
• Soldering Techniques - SMTandthrough hole soldering
  
• Continuous Learning -participatein training sessions andidentifyopportunities for improvement
  
• Ability to operate AOIand X-Raymachines to inspect circuit boardsorsurface mount devices,capturing and analyzing images to detect defects such as shorts,opensor misalignments
  
• Capability to perform manual rework including cleaning shorts and correcting defects
  

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of work experience
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings
• Ability to become solder certified
• Effective communication and team work
• Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team
• A passion for learning/knowledge

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in electronic assembly
• Active IPC-A-610and J-STD-001Certifications
• Solder Reflow experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $48438 - $77500

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
