Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1940 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Need to be able to titrate drips if possible.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13 - 16 weeks.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric medical/telemetry patients; higher-than-average cardiac population including chest pain/cardiac rule-out patients (stress test, Echo), CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and the majority of the hospital’s alcohol detox patients. Drips include Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin; no pressors. Uses Alaris pumps and Hercules beds. May see JP drains and other standard postoperative drains, occasional stable chest tubes, ports, and PICC lines. Oxygen is limited to nasal cannula; may see chronic BiPAP/CPAP patients, but acute needs are transferred. Occasional chronic trachs; no vents. Night shift charge takes an assignment; day shift charge is variable depending on census.
