Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist and apply your clinical skills in a skilled nursing facility in Salisbury, MD. You will evaluate and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document skilled therapy services to support patient progress. Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Active Maryland state license in Speech-Language Pathology required prior to start.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluations and treatment, including use of compensatory strategies and therapeutic exercises preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interdisciplinary discharge planning and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred.
- Experience with restorative programs and caregiver education preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
- Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Typical weekly hours: 30 hours per week.
