<p align="center"><b>We are hiring a Staff Accountant in Calabasas, CA</b></p> <p align="center"><b>**HYBRID SCHEDULE**</b><br /> *DIRECT HIRE*</p> <p>Volt is immediately hiring for <b>Staff Accountant </b>in <b>Calabasas, CA.</b></p> <p>As a staff accountant you will:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly journal entries, perform analysis, and complete account reconciliations to support accurate and timely month-end close.</li> <li>Complete monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts, including maintenance of detailed supporting documentation.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to processing and reporting deadlines to maintain compliance requirements.</li> <li>Protect confidential, privileged, and proprietary information in accordance with company policies.</li> <li>Support business unit leaders by responding to financial data and reporting requests as needed.</li> <li>Assist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and validating financial statements and related disclosures.</li> </ul> <p>This is a full-time HYBRID Direct Hire opportunity.</p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.</li> <li>Prior experience in accounting or a related field is preferred. </li> <li><b>Must have at least 2-3 years of accounting experience. </b></li> <li>Experience with Yardi Voyager is preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with accounting software or sub-ledger is preferred.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles is required.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.</li> <li>Understanding of ledger accounts is preferred.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, planning, and analysis skills are required.</li> <li>Strong relationship management, organizing, and customer service skills are required.</li> <li>Candidates are expected to meet multiple deadlines, maintain confidentiality, implement process improvement changes, and pay close attention to details.</li> <li>Candidates are expected to adapt and flex to a changing environment.</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate:</b> $27.42 to $34.28 Hourly</p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
