Full job description
The Evergreen Center is a world-class private human services organization that provides living and learning environments for individuals with developmental disabilities diagnosed with multiple disabilities including Autism, physical disabilities, neurological problems, and behavior disorders. Evergreen Center welcomes all individuals from various backgrounds and experiences through cultural equity, inclusion, and diversity.
The Director of Adult Residential Supports is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of operational and personnel policies and procedures within the five Adult Supports residences. The Director of Adult Residential Supports reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensures that all DDS and Evergreen Center required record keeping is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervises the development of Individual Support Plans and case reviews
- Conducts admissions screenings
- Provides direct supervision to the House Managers
- Reviews individual financial records monthly
- Monitors Survey and Certification issues and compliance documentation
- Participates in staff recruitment planning as it relates to the residential programs.
- Manages the staff performance evaluation process
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services or other related area and a minimum of three years’ experience with the developmentally disabled population preferred. A Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, human services, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience with a developmentally disabled population, at least one of which must include supervisory experience.
