NURSE PRACTITIONER EM- NORTH FLORIDA
Join a stable 50-year-old private practice whose goal is to provide the best service possible to patients, their families, and fellow providers. We focus on creating a work environment that emphasizes patient centered care and Provider Collaboration. Opportunities at both hospital and free-standing emergency department settings.
Opening due to regional expansion
No trauma designation
Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hour
EMR system: Epic (w/ PACS, Dragon dictation, and AI scribe)
Physician coverage model: 70% physician/ 30% APC
Scribe / support staff: AI scribe, HUC (unit secretary), Tech (splints/IV)
Specialty back-up: Hospitals (Gen surg, Most Surgical Specialists, Anesthesia, OBGYN) **some IR
o DTWN: neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, EP, ophtho
o FSED: RT 24/7, Doc on site
Position Details
Schedule structure: Mostly 9- & 10-hour shifts. Occasional 12-hour.
11 ' 13 Shifts per month, No call
Weekend & some holiday coverage required.
Competencies include laceration repairs, I&D, FB removal & full eye exam.
Patient population primarily underserved, non-urban, young family's vs retirement
Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hour.
Collaborative physician oversight
Thorough onboarding and orientation support
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed $85.00 per hour.
With bonus up to > $95 per hour
Plus, Nighttime shift differential

Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in EM as practicing APC
Certifications required: ACLS, PALS
DEA / CSR Not required.
Board certification APRN or PA for both adult & kids.
Soft-skill priorities include customer service excellence, clear friendly communication, positive-attitude and enjoys collaboration.
