Additional Duties:
- Training to work in a work center and performs specific machinist functions.
- Under direct supervision, verifying conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to tolerance and company specification.
- Training to identify dull and worn inserts or tools
- Learning the basic preventive maintenance of machines.
- Training to perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments.
- Performs other related duties as directed
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- High school graduate; or
- GED; or
- BOCES Machine Shop classes; or
- Skilled trade school graduate
Experience
- Basic Shop math skills
- Basic Blue print reading skills
- Basic mechanical ability

- Experience in order of operations
