Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain cabling equipment on our 1st shift. Standard shift is Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 1pm. Starting Pay: $22 per hour
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Reads and follows Manufacturing Specification to determine machine set-up, materials required, and quantity to run
- Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments to bring product to spec if necessary. Gives feedback if instructions in the shop order need to be corrected.
- Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment
- Personally responsible for the safety of self and others in their work area
- Complete all necessary paperwork and production posting correctly
- Performs all other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with operating multiple machines at once is high preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications using the computer system and/or hard copy.
- Ability to measure product attributes as required by product specifications
- Ability to be a team player and play a responsible and participatory role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
