Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services within our patient-centered, not-for-profit health system. In this key role, you will perform and oversee complex ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support accurate, timely diagnoses for diverse patient populations. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers. The Lead Sonographer also promotes safety, maintains equipment readiness, supports quality improvement, and models our values of compassion, integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
