As a Pediatric Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist, you evaluate children with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing needs, then develop and deliver individualized treatment plans. You document care, manage an outpatient caseload, and collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other therapists. You may supervise support staff or students, contribute to quality-improvement efforts, and help families with home programs and community resources in a clinic-based setting.
