Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech

Location: MANSON, NC

Pay Range: $33.66

Shift: 3rd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Install, start up, and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls and drives.
  • Plan and perform work based on a thorough understanding of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories, codes, and principles.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
  • Maintain accurate performance and maintenance records for equipment and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What's Needed?

  • Vocational or specialized training beyond high school in electronics/industrial maintenance or a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
  • Computer proficiency, including PLC programming and analysis using laptops.
  • Ability to work in close quarters, climb overhead structures, and perform analysis and repairs under various conditions.
  • Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required.
