Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Covers adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines. - Uses GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices.

Shift & Scheduling: - Varying weekends; at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Floating Requirements: - Floats to all critical care units and floors.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
