LPN Licensed Practical Nurse 12-hr shift Nights Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation

Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation is looking to add to our growing team of caregivers! Now hiring for LPNs for our convenient 12 hour shifts. NIGHT SHIFT: 7p-7a.

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position involves passing medication and completing assessments and treatments, as well as documenting the provision of these services and occasionally participating in ADL care or assisting the nursing assistants.

The ideal candidate would have long term care experience, a positive attitude and bedside manner, and a love for working with older adults.

Must posess a valid LPN/RN license in the state of NC or a compact license that allows you to practice in NC.
