- Schedule: PRN (as needed) 8 hour shifts - Varying shift start times of 7:30am, 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm, w/weekend and holiday rotations
- Maintains clear hallways by moving unused equipment to designated storage areas.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ensures the proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
- Participates in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge. Other duties as assigned.
- Assists in the safe transfers of patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
People Skills: Ability to understand customers’ needs and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
Communication Skills: Able to communicate in English using good diction, and respond to peoples needs in a pleasant and courteous manner as perceived by the customer, and as appropriate to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Technical Skills: Ability to operate stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs.
Must be proficient in the English language and able to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv
Work Experience:
- 1+ year public contact in a medical setting [required]

- Customer Service Experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Driver's License (DL) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
