Why This Role Matters

As a Forensic Processing Technician, you'll support the processing of laboratory specimens by handling incoming mail, preparing samples for testing, and accurately entering data into computer systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure specimens are processed efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Do

• Open and sort incoming mail containing specimens
• Process specimens, primarily urine samples, according to established procedures
• Accurately enter specimen and testing information into computer systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Stand and move throughout the production environment for extended periods during the shift

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and following safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
