What You’ll Do:
- Manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
- Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
- Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
- Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff.
- Support business development and proposal efforts.
- Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership, preferably with Ohio EPA and ODNR.
- Experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks
- Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work
- Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of environmental consulting experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, preference with orphan well experience.
- Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
- Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR with an understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
Salary Range:
The starting salary range for this position is $100,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
