Assistant Restaurant Manager

Somersworth, NH | $50,000–$55,000 + Bonus Potential + Career Growth

Compensation & Benefits

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, and team performance
  • Lead shifts with a hands-on approach, ensuring smooth service and operational excellence
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching team members
  • Support scheduling and staffing to meet business demands
  • Monitor key operating metrics, including labor, food costs, and inventory
  • Understand restaurant P&L drivers and help troubleshoot opportunities impacting profitability
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are consistently maintained
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused culture

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of restaurant leadership experience in a high-volume environment
  • Quick-service or fast-casual experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with fryers and managing fast-paced kitchen operations
  • Understanding of scheduling, inventory management, and labor controls
  • Familiarity with restaurant P&L reporting and the ability to identify and address operational issues affecting results
  • ServSafe certified or able to obtain certification
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, hands-on leadership style
