Responsibilities include responding to all overhead codes, managing adult inpatient medical conditions, and providing hybrid CCU coverage for patients who transition to the floor; a CCU APP is available until approximately midnight and an intensivist is always on call and reachable by phone. A swing shift APP is on site until 1:00 AM to assist with admissions, which average 12-15 per night. No procedures are required for this assignment, and no call responsibilities are required outside of assigned shift hours.
