Furniture Repair Technician

Our client, a leading organization in furniture restoration and logistics, is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician to join their team. As a Furniture Repair Technician, you will be part of the Last Mile department supporting the furniture repair and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Furniture Repair Technician

Location: Olathe, KS

Pay Range: $25 $28 depending on experience

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6am - 3pm

What's the Job?

• Diagnose basic to moderate furniture damage and determine appropriate repair method
• Perform repairs including burn-in fills, wood touch-ups, and frame stabilization
• Assist with refinishing furniture—sanding, staining, and polishing as needed
• Reupholster or repair minor fabric issues such as seams and stuffing
• Replace or repair furniture components like legs, arms, handles, hinges, etc.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience in furniture repair or a related trade
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Physically able to lift and move items up to 75 lbs
