Join an outstanding Infectious Diseases team at Duke University Health System. The Duke Adult Infectious Disease Service, led by Division Chief Dr. Andrew Alspaugh , is seeking two Infectious Diseases BC/BE faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our collaborative team beginning July 1, 2027 .
This Academic Clinician position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-level Infectious Diseases clinical care while working with exceptional colleagues and learners.
Responsibilities include:
18-24 weeks of inpatient Infectious Diseases service annually
One to two half-day outpatient sessions per week
Opportunities for Tele-ID, virtual care consults and e-Communications coverage
Teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows
Opportunities for education, quality improvement, and other scholarly activities
