Full job description

WellStar is seeking a Mammography Tech to join our patient-centered imaging team. In this role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using advanced digital and 3D equipment, ensuring high-quality images and adherence to ACR, FDA, and MQSA standards. You will prepare and position patients, review histories, verify orders, and support radiologists during procedures. The Mammography Tech educates patients, documents in the EMR, follows radiation safety protocols, and assists in quality assurance and equipment checks. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support process improvements, and participate in ongoing training and certification maintenance.
