Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2770 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required. STEMI experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: IR and Neuro IR experience preferred.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses/types of patients: STEMI, PCI, diagnostic coronary angiography, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, synchronized cardioversions, TEEs, acute stroke/thrombectomy, peripheral vascular interventions, biopsies, drain placements, and pre/post procedural recovery. Uses Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson) and Lifepak 20. Cath Lab Techs scrub and monitor cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri with one rotating day off each week. Rotating weekday and weekend call coverage based on department staffing needs. Call hours include any hours outside of M-F 0700-1630 and include 24 hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Holiday call is required if a holiday falls during the contract period.

Floating Requirements: Within the cath lab department only: Coronary, Neuro IR, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Prep & Recovery.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
