About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Chambersburg, PA. This is a temp-to-hire position.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay: $29.50 Per Hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 5:00 AM start time for AM shift, 3:00 PM start time for PM shift

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local
  • Freight / Load Type: Industrial Equipment
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks
  • Handling: Strapping

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Minimum Requirements

  • License: CDL A
  • Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
