Automotive Technician | Up to $58/HR | Hourly + Production Pay
Middle Country Automotive
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $58/hour, based on capability
Pay Type: Hourly Performance-Based Pay
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Earning Potential: Up to $130,000 annually

About Middle Country Automotive
Middle Country Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who can perform advanced diagnostics along with general automotive repair and maintenance.
You'll work on Domestic, Asian, European, and some fleet vehicles in a 5-bay shop with 6 lifts and an alignment rack. The shop does not perform diesel work.
Middle Country Automotive invests in technician training and technology, including Tekmetric. If you haven't used a Digital Vehicle Inspection system before, DVI training is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
- Complete general automotive repairs and maintenance
- Service Domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong automotive diagnostic and electrical skills
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot vehicle concerns efficiently
- State Inspection License is a plus
- Independent repair shop experience preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred but not required
- Tekmetric/DVI experience is not required; training is available
